Gabriel gives keynote address at First International Conference on the Economics of Natural Gas

ISR-affiliated Professor Steven Gabriel (ME) gave the keynote address at the First International Conference on the Economics of Natural Gas, New Research Perspectives for a Rapidly-Changing World on June 27, 2017. The event was held at Mines ParisTech in Paris. Professor Gabriel’s talk was titled, “A Market Equilibrium Approach to Modeling Gas Markets Using the World Gas Model.”

The conference was sponsored by The Chair on the Economics of Natural Gas, part of CERNA, the Center for Industrial Economics, at MINES ParisTech (formerly the Ecole des mines de Paris). It is also a member of the interdisciplinary institute on innovation (i3, UMR CNRS 9217).
