  • ANL's Interactive WebMap Browser. The page you get lists a number of remediation areas that are active---go to Area 2 Phase I. Under that page choosed the interactive map. Of course your browser needs to be Java enabled for the software to work.
    
  • Simulation of Traffic Lights at an Intersection : An applet for simulating traffic lights at a 4-way traffic intersection. This site has Java source code (check it out!).
    
  • Retirement Calculator Applet : An applet that helps you figure out if your saving enough for your retirement. This site has Java source code (check it out!).
    
  • NanoCAD : NanoCAD uses mathematical techniques of molecular modeling to simulate the behavior of molecules on your web browser. The "Emin" buttons perform energy minimization, that is, they try to nudge the molecule toward a more natural shape where its potential energy will be lower. Real molecules jiggle around their minimal-energy shapes due to thermal vibrations. This site has Java Source code.

  • One-Dimensional Transient Conduction Problem.
    
  • L-System Applet. L-grammars allow users to create fractal images by specifying parameters. L-system grammars can be used to generate strings, which can be interpreted as drawing commands in order to produce fractal curves (e.g., computer generated images of plants and trees).
    
  • Airport Pattern Simulator . A demonstration program for a simplistic simulation of aircraft arrivals to a single runway.
