Professor K. B. Datta is an emeritus professor of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is also an affiliated professor for summer courses in Systems Science and Mathematics, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Presently, Professor Datta is visiting the Department of Mathematics, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. His field of interest in multivariable control systems, robust control and H_2/H_Infinity control theory.
