Jacquelien Scherpen

Jacquelien Scherpen received her PhD degree in March 1994 at the Systems and Control Group of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, University of Twente, The Netherlands. Her thesis was entitled "Balancing for Nonlinear Systems". Until June 1995, she held a post-doctoral position at the department of Electrical Engineering, at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Since then she is an assistant professor in the Systems and Control Group of the same department. Her research interests concern nonlinear systems analysis and model reduction, switching electrical networks, and nonlinear control.
