Patrick Shoemaker is a senior scientist with Tanner research in Pasadena, California. He has a long-standing interest in biological information processing and neuromorphic analog VLSI. He received the Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego, and has subsequently worked for the US Naval Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center and as an adjunct faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at San Diego State University.
