Nelson Liu

Dr. Nelson Liu has been with Institute for Systems Research, University of Maryland since February 2001. He worked as a post-doctorate fellow at Unversity of Cambridge, UK between Januray 2000 and February 2001. Before that he was a project manager in a Motorola R&D lab in Beijing. Dr. Liu has a PhD degree in computer science, and MS and BS degrees in electrical engineering.

His interest includes network modeling and management, quality of services for Internet and hybrid networks, and service provisioning and distribution.
