Saturday, June 30, 2018

Are you a University of Maryland faculty member whose work involves data science?

Do you want to collaborate with other UMD researchers working in data science?

Do you want to lead a data science event such as a training or symposium?

The Year of Data Science is a campus-wide effort, through faculty-led events, to showcase data science accomplishments to the broader community, connect data scientists across units, and provide data science learning opportunities.

This is an opportunity for you to create and lead a UMD data science event with the support of the Year of Data Science team and receive matching funds from the Provost's Office!

Join us in the Year of Data Science! Submit your ideas by June 30, 2018.

Examples of possible activities: Trainings, Research Showcases, Speaker Events, Researcher Meet-and-Greets.
