The Digital Transformation of Everything: Don’t Lose Sight of the Human!

Alka Bhave
Vice President of Performance Excellence,
Perspecta, Inc.

Abstract: The world is increasingly becoming digital – from manufacturing to agriculture, retail and life sciences, we are experiencing the 4th industrial revolution. There is a growing opportunity space of applications and career paths, especially for an electrical engineer. The digital revolution is disrupting the way we work, live, and operate, with a re-invention of how products, services, and capabilities are delivered and consumed. As we accelerate down a digital path, its key to remember that the user is still the centerpiece. User experiences can make-or-break adoption and success. This session will explore key emerging technologies, industries that are impacted, and how the more we digitize, the more we need to remember the people and process in the equation.
