Next-Generation Identity Assurance for Mobile Environments

Dr. Sarbari Gupta,
President and CEO of Electrosoft

Abstract: Traditional identity authentication models are limited to one-, two- or three-factor authentication - something you know (e.g., password), something you have (e.g., token or cryptographic key) and something you are (e.g., biometric). Mobile computing platforms offer a range of reliable data from biometric and context-related sensors that may be used to authenticate the device user. This session will discuss how such capabilities can be leveraged to implement innovative authentication models that outpace the three-factor approach.
