We are pleased to announce another exciting QED Talk taking place Monday, July 13 at 4PM.
In "Cultural and Institutional Factors Affecting COVID-19 Growth and Death Rates," Professor Michele Gelfand (University of Maryland) will discuss implications of the cultural factors affecting COVID-19 responses. Dr. Gelfand's work on "tight" and "loose" cultures was featured on NPR's Hidden Brain podcast earlier this year. She is also a frequent collaborator with Professor Dana Nau (CS/ISR).
Please register in advance for Dr. Gelfand's talk:
You can find a growing library of past QED Talks on the BBI website, including the recording of yesterday's wonderful seminar with Dr. Matthew Frieman about his work on vaccines for COVID-19 and related respiratory viruses.
