Jaydev Desai promoted to full professor

Jaydev Desai

ISR-affiliated faculty member Jaydev Desai (ME) has been promoted to full Professor.

Desai's research interests are in cell manipulation, surgical simulation (needle insertion and soft tissue modeling), surgical robotics (breast biopsy and brain tumor) and compliant grasping. He is well known for his work developing the Minimally Invasive Neurosurgical Intracranial Robot.
