Moss and Ghose research bat signals with clutter

Professor Cynthia Moss (Psychology/ISR) and her Ph.D. student Kaushik Ghose (ISR Outstanding Graduate Student, 2004) are back in the news for an aspect of their research that explains what bats do when their echolocating signal returns with clutter in addition to information about the potential food. Read the story at Innovations Report or Live Science.

The Toronto Star published a March 18 story on the work called "Imagine being a bat; go ahead, try." | Read the story online at The Star's web site. |
