Moss to become director of Neuroscience and Cognitive Science program

Currently, about 40 students are enrolled in the NACS Program, with home departments in Animal and Avian Science, Biology, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Hearing and Speech, Human Development, Kinesiology, Linguistics, and Psychology. NACS became an official degree-granting program in 1996 under the directorship of another ISR faculty member, Professor Avis Cohen (Biology/ISR). NACS has been extremely successful in enhancing the visibility of neuroscience and cognitive science on campus by attracting an increasing number of graduate students and new faculty.
