Shneiderman quoted in New Scientist
Professor Ben Shneiderman (CS/ISR) is quoted in a New Scientist story about efforts at the MIT Media Lab to pioneer "affective computing," software that gives computers the appearance of having emotions. Shneiderman opposes the idea of creating computer "personalities," believing it could lead to many negative consequences. | Story online at the UMD news desk |Published December 2, 2005
