Richard La promoted to full professor


Richard La (ECE/ISR) has been promoted to the rank of full Professor by University of Maryland President Wallace H. Loh, effective July 1. La has held a joint appointment in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Institute for Systems Research since he joined the University of Maryland in 2001. His research interests are in internet congestion control, resource allocations in wireless networks, network performance modeling, application of game theory, contract theory, and network pricing mechanisms.
