Research Interests 

Theoretical, methodological, and applied contributions to problems in business analytics. Resource allocation problems in revenue management, logistics, marketing and e-commerce. Theoretical and methodological work focuses on optimal learning in stochastic optimization.


I am an Associate Professor in ISR and the Department of Decision, Operations, and Information Technologies at the Robert H. Smith School of BusinessUniversity of Maryland. I received my Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2011. I am a co-author (with W.B. Powell) of the book Optimal Learning, available on
